Brazilian street girls, (invisible lives)

Before the age of instagram and voyeuristic selfies the photographer Leticia went to the streets of big Brazilian cities to play and dress up with street girls. Girls that were dressing down to protect themselves from men’s attention were offered the opportunity to role play in a way they would have done if they had families and homes with mother’s wardrobes. Underneath viaducts or in abandoned houses they played weddings and balls.They were offered innocent moments of respite and beauty in their otherwise very hard lives. Simply moving!
